About
I am currently pursuing PhD in Community and Regional Planning in the University of Texas at Austin, USA. My research interests include travel behavior, land use transportation interaction, and planning for public transit and non-motorized forms of transportation. My doctoral dissertation examines various ways in which the built environment affects travel behavior, travel attitudes and residential location choice. The primary motivation of my research is to inform transportation and land use policies that promote a healthy, equitable, and sustainable transportation for all.
Prior to doctoral study, I achieved MSc in Transportation Science from the University of California Irvine, USA, bachelor and master’s degrees in urban and regional planning (BURP and MURP) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
